Section 5 of these T&Cs details the various relationships arising between the User, the Healthcare Provider, and Neurowaze. The term Healthcare Provider includes individuals, clinics, or other medical or related providers.
Neurowaze is not a provider of medical or diagnostic services.
Neurowaze carries out the following functions:
- It facilitates Users by making available healthcare resource material and information relating to choices of a Healthcare Provider.
- It makes available methods of communication with a Healthcare Provider.
- It hosts a booking and communication suite to allow for enhanced communication and interaction between the User and a Healthcare Provider.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Neurowaze. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
2. Definitions
- "User": Any individual accessing our website or services.
- "Healthcare Provider": Healthcare and medical professionals listed on Neurowaze.
- "Services": Those services, data, and information found within Neurowaze or available from any database accessed from Neurowaze or by virtue of any other reference from Neurowaze, but at all times EXCLUDING the interaction between the User and the Healthcare Provider, which shall be governed by the specific relationship and terms and conditions agreed between the User and the Healthcare Provider prior to any bookings and arrangements.
3. Use of Services
- Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.
- Account Registration: Users may need to create an account, providing accurate and complete information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Prohibited Conduct: Users agree not to misuse our services, including but not limited to:
- Engaging in unlawful activities.
- Impersonating others.
- Interfering with the operation of our services.
4. Medical Disclaimer
- Informational Purpose Only: Content on Neurowaze is for informational purposes only and does not substitute professional medical advice.
- No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Use of our services does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between Users and Neurowaze.
- Emergency Situations: Neurowaze is not intended for emergency situations. In case of a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
5. Consultations and Healthcare Provider Services
- Independent Providers: Healthcare Providers listed on Neurowaze operate independently and are not employees of Neurowaze.
- User Responsibility: Users are responsible for verifying the credentials of Healthcare Providers and making informed decisions regarding their healthcare.
- Limitations: Telemedicine services may have limitations compared to in-person consultations. Users should assess the suitability of telemedicine for their needs.
6. Payment and Fees
- Consultation Fees: Fees for consultations are set by Healthcare Providers. Neurowaze may charge a service fee for facilitating bookings.
- Payment Terms: Payments are due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Neurowaze uses third-party payment processors; users agree to their terms and conditions.
- Refunds: Refund policies are determined by Neurowaze and Healthcare Providers. Users should review these policies before booking appointments and/or using services. Cancellations and rescheduled appointments may incur a charge, and may not be eligible for refund.
7. User Content
- Responsibility: Users may have the ability to post reviews or other content. Users are solely responsible for the content they post.
- Prohibited Content: Users agree not to post content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any laws.
- License: By posting content, users grant Neurowaze a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display such content.
8. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Neurowaze owns all rights to its website, services, and content, excluding user-generated content and third-party content.
- Limited License: Neurowaze grants users a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

By using Neurowaze, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Neurowaze may use anonymised data supplied by Users, including but not limited to symptoms, healing progress, and survey results, to:
- Improve the Neurowaze platform and service offerings.
- Enhance and develop existing and future platform capabilities.
- Provide anonymised and aggregated data as a source for medical and healthcare research and studies.
- All personal data will be handled in compliance with GDPR, UK Data Protection Laws, and any applicable healthcare data protection regulations.
- Neurowaze will not share personally identifiable health data with third parties without explicit user consent, except where required by law.
12. Modifications to Terms
Neurowaze reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
